Welcome to another Tasty Tuesday!
I will admit that I’m not a big breakfast person when I’m visiting Disney World. I’d rather consume my calories at other meals. I can get good pancakes anywhere, you know? But there are some breakfast dishes in The World that I will make exceptions for. (And no, Tonga Toast isn’t one of them; I detest bananas!) At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, there is a subtle and wonderful breakfast dish at the Grand Floridian Cafe. It is the Vanilla-laced French Toast! While I don’t care for the title (I associate the word “lace” with “Arsenic and Old.”) I love the french toast itself. It is made from brioche bread, and has just the right amount of vanilla flavor to it. Served with a side of bacon (my choice) or sausage, this French toast is one of my favorite breakfast meals at Disney World.
