Don’t Miss Summer at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is the place to be this summer, and you won’t want to miss it.

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER returns from May 26 through September 8, 2026, bringing refreshed attractions, brand-new experiences, and limited-time activities designed especially for families. Add in a great lineup of Disney films hitting theaters this summer (many with showings at Disney Springs), and it’s shaping up to be a truly special season.

With so much happening, this really does feel like the summer of Disney.

And there’s good news when it comes to planning, too. Since everyone loves a good deal — especially on vacation — here’s a look at the special offers and experiences that can help you save while still enjoying everything Walt Disney World has to offer this summer.

Ways to Save During Cool KIDS’ SUMMER

Summer often brings some of the best ticket prices of the year, along with longer theme park hours and exclusive seasonal entertainment. Combined, this makes summer one of the most appealing times to visit Walt Disney World.

New summer offers are available to book beginning January 6, giving you even more ways to get extra value out of your vacation.

Add Free Days to Your Stay

You can receive two free room nights and two free theme park days when you purchase a select 4-night, 4-day (or longer) Walt Disney Travel Company room and ticket package.

That means at least six days to enjoy Walt Disney World — plenty of time to experience your favorite attractions, slow the pace a bit, relax at your resort, and still fit in everything on your must-do list.

This offer is available for stays most nights May 26 through September 15, 2026, and can be booked January 6 through February 15, 2026.

Disney Resort Hotel Savings

You can save up to 30% on select Disney Resort hotels for stays most nights May 1 through October 4, 2026.

Offer details are available beginning January 6, 2026.

Florida Residents and Annual Passholders

If you’re eligible, there are even deeper discounts available:

  • Florida Residents can save up to 35%
  • Annual Passholders can save up to 40%

These savings apply to select Disney Resort hotels for summer stays, with details available beginning January 6, 2026.

Visit a Water Park for Free on Check-In Day

If you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel between May 26 and September 8, 2026, you’ll receive free admission to a Walt Disney World water park on your check-in day.

Even better, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open during this time, so you can choose the park that best fits your family’s style — whether that’s thrilling slides or a more laid-back day in the sun.

This is a great way to start your vacation before even setting foot in a theme park.

Free Dining Plan for Kids

These summer offers can also be paired with a dining bonus.

In 2026, you can receive a free dining plan for kids ages 3–9 when you purchase a package that includes:

  • A room at a Disney Resort hotel, and
  • A dining plan for guests ages 10 and up

With a dining plan, you can enjoy the convenience of prepaid meals and snacks during your vacation — something many families appreciate when trying to manage both time and budget.

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER Fun for the Whole Family

With school out and kids ready for adventure, this summer is all about family fun at Walt Disney World. Cool KIDS’ SUMMER brings special entertainment, interactive activities, and character experiences designed with younger guests in mind — while still being fun for the whole family.

Here’s a preview of what you can look forward to.

Bluey and Bingo at Conservation Station

Everyone’s favorite blue heeler is heading to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Beginning summer 2026, you can play, dance, and take photos with Bluey and Bingo during their visit to Conservation Station. After hopping aboard the Wildlife Express Train, you’ll find interactive games inspired by Bluey episodes, meet-and-greets with Bluey and Bingo, and even opportunities to learn about animals native to Australia.

For Bluey fans, this is a must-do.

Toy Story Pals at Diamond Horseshoe

For Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, pals from Toy Story are bringing high-energy fun to the Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom.

At Jessie’s Roundup, you can join Jessie, Woody, and friends for hands-on activities that include crafting, dancing, and plenty of playful Western flair. It’s an interactive experience designed to let kids burn off some energy while parents enjoy the nostalgia.

GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall

Over at EPCOT, CommuniCore Hall becomes home to GoofyCore, a Cool KIDS’ SUMMER special led by Goofy, DJ Dance Pants, and the Goof Troop.

Goofy’s Game Machine features silly, kid-approved activities like Goofy Says, Balloon Bonanza, and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks — all designed to keep kids laughing and moving.

Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!

Little ones will love this new stage show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, inspired by Disney Jr.’s global hit series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Mickey and Minnie invite Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto to a Clubhouse party — but when the guests don’t arrive, they set off to find them. The result is a lively show filled with upbeat original songs, interactive moments, and plenty of opportunities to sing and dance along.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Calling all Space Rangers!

At Magic Kingdom, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin gets a refresh just in time for summer. You’ll board updated ride vehicles and use new handheld blasters to aim at interactive targets while helping Buzz defeat Emperor Zurg.

With improved technology and gameplay, guests of all ages (and heights) can aim for the coveted Galactic Hero score.

Zootopia: Better Zoogether!

If you haven’t yet seen Zootopia: Better Zoogether! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, summer is a great time to add it to your plans.

This lively 4D show features fan-favorite characters like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde in a celebration that brings the entire animal kingdom together. Expect laughs, music, and energetic performances throughout Zootopia.

Even More Excitement This Summer at Walt Disney World

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER is just part of what’s new and exciting this season.

The Mandalorian and Grogu on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Beginning May 22 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) and Grogu take center stage in a new version of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

You’ll join them on a mission to track down ex-Imperial officers, and for the first time ever, you’ll have control over which planets the Millennium Falcon visits during your flight. Familiar locations, fast-paced action, and Star Wars storytelling come together for a fresh experience.

Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

This summer, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster roars back into action at Hollywood Studios with a brand-new twist — starring The Muppets and the Electric Mayhem.

Expect high-speed thrills paired with the humor, music, and chaos The Muppets are famous for.

Soarin’ Across America

EPCOT’s fan-favorite attraction Soarin’ receives an all-new experience this summer.

Soarin’ Across America takes guests on an aerial journey across the United States, celebrating the beauty and spirit of the nation from coast to coast. Created in honor of the 250th birthday of the United States, this version will be ready for takeoff by Memorial Day.

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER at Disney Resort Hotels

Staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel comes with added perks this summer.

Early Theme Park Entry

All Disney Resort hotel guests receive 30 minutes of early theme park entry each day (valid theme park admission required).

During Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, special surprises — including character appearances — will be available across all four theme parks during this early entry window. Visiting different parks on different days gives you the best chance to experience them all.

Character Appearances and Resort Activities

For summertime only, families staying at:

  • Disney’s Pop Century Resort
  • Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

will enjoy additional family-focused activities, including scheduled visits from favorite Disney characters.

These offerings complement the resort experiences already available at all Disney Resort hotels, such as movies under the stars, poolside games, and other activities designed to make downtime just as memorable as park days.
