Are you heading to Magic Kingdom® Park this fall? Don’t miss out on Guest-favorite Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will start earlier than ever this year, with parties running on Aug. 25 & 29; Sept. 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, & 29; Oct. 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29 & 31; and Nov. 1. The event will feature trick-or-treating, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show, Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade and “Happy HalloWishes.” Guests of all ages are also welcome to dress up for the party (but be sure to check the park costuming guidelines first).

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be held Nov. 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26 & 28; and Dec. 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 & 22. The party will feature Mickeys’ Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, “Holiday Wishes,” “A Frozen Holiday Wish,” and much more.*

  •  Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – Advance ticket prices starting at $74 for adults and $69 for children (3-9).
  •  Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – Advance ticket prices starting at $89 for adults and $84 for children (3-9).

This new event is being held Fridays through Mondays from now until February 20, 2017. And, it will feature new art each week, showcasing celebrated work by Disney historical artists like Mary Blair and Herb Ryman. The event will also feature art being created live by artists like Joe Kaminski and Costa Alavezos.

 

Epcot Festival of the Arts

 

You can enjoy the performing arts thanks to Disney Theatrical Productions, which will bring an exciting showcase of favorite music and Broadway talent to the America Gardens Theatre stage. Performances will be at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday through Monday of each festival weekend. Guests can expect to hear some phenomenal Broadway talent live, performing songs from some of Disney on Broadway’s award-winning shows, like ‪The Lion King‪, Newsies, and Aladdin.

New Food Studios will showcase culinary creations so delicious and intricate, you may not know if the menus are for admiring or eating.

Plus, there will be hands-on experiences for the whole family, favorite Disney characters channeling their favorite artists, seminars and more.

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is included with regular Epcot admission.

Star Wars Galactic Nights, a new Hollywood-inspired special event will debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at Walt Disney World® Resort on April 14, 2017. You can come dressed as your favorite character and celebrate forty years of Star Wars milestones.

Here’s a taste of what’s on tap for Star Wars: Galactic Nights:

Rebel Base Activities – The Rebel Base will serve as the event hub with multiple events, hosted shows, and more taking place in the center of the park. The Rebel Base is the stop to see “Celebrate the Saga,” a 40-year history of Star Wars that features rarely seen imagery; you can join in on Star Wars dance parties and more.

Watch “Inside the Saga: Celebrity Chat Show” – You can catch a celebrity chat show in Epic Theater to learn more about the making of Star Wars films.

Can’t miss Star Wars photo ops – You can don your Star Wars finest and enjoy iconic Star Wars backdrops, including Han Solo cast in Carbonite, Jabba the Hutt’s Palace, the Hoth Wampa Cave and more.

Galactic Nights Stars in Cars Motorcade – This procession will welcome in Star Wars celebrities down Hollywood Blvd.

Imperial March & March of the First Order – Darth Vader will lead a battalion of Stormtroopers on a dramatic march down Hollywood Blvd to the Event Stage. Captain Phasma will also lead a unit of First Order Stormtroopers through the park, pausing to give a demonstration of power and strength.

Seize the Saga Interactive Scavenger Hunt – Event Guests are challenged to collect eight clues in the form of puzzle pieces, one for each Star Wars film, at the party’s various photo stops. Each piece can be affixed to the back of the event lanyard to reveal a surprise.

“Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” – You can watch high-energy clips of the best moments from the film saga juxtaposed with character moments on stage, featuring Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, and more.

“Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” – The skies will come alive with the power of the Force, as the park’s popular Star Wars-themed nighttime spectacular lights up the night.

Additional offerings will include the chance to experience Star Tours-The Adventures Continue attraction, Star Wars Launch Bay, AWR Trooper sightings, roaming Droids, Star Wars-themed food and beverage, special merchandise, and much more!

Drones Light Up the Skies During the Holidays at Disney Springs!

It’s a first not just for Disney Parks, but in the United States: A new holiday experience at Disney Springs™ featuring 300 show drones illuminating the night sky. During “Starbright Holidays – An Intel Collaboration,” you will get a chance to watch Disney and Intel explore remarkable new technology.

 

Accompanied by an original Disney arrangement of classic holiday songs recorded by a full orchestra, the sparkling experience invites you to look up to sky and wish upon a holiday star. This is the first time a drone show of this scale has ever been performed in the U.S.

2016 New Year’s Eve Celebrations at Walt Disney World

From a gala dine-around at California Grill high atop Disney’s Contemporary Resort to celebrations around World Showcase at Epcot® and waterfront at Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, there are lots of ways for you to ring in the New Year at Walt Disney World® Resort.

California Grill New Year’s Eve Dinner – With spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom® Park, this dine-around style gala features cooking stations throughout the restaurant. Plus, a host of favorite Disney Characters will make appearances.

The event takes place from 7:30 p.m.-midnight. The price is $650 per person.

Victoria & Albert’s New Year’s Eve Dinner – A luxurious evening in this AAA Five Diamond restaurant features gracious “butler-style” service, live harp music and personalized menus to remember the special evening. Seatings are available between 6-7:45 p.m. The price is $600 per person.

New Year’s Eve at Epcot World ShowPlace –This all-you-care-to-eat extravaganza is a real family affair featuring photo ops with fun vignettes for posing (but no Disney Characters) and Disney tunes. Seatings are available from 3-9 p.m. The cost is $72.90 for adults and $44.38 for children (ages 3-11). And, later in the evening, you can head out to the promenade for fireworks over World Showcase Lagoon to welcome 2017.

Monsieur Paul New Year’s Eve Dinner – In the elegant upstairs dining room at the France pavilion at Epcot, your can feast on a four-course, prix fixe menu of classical French cuisine. Six seatings are available on New Year’s Eve: 11:45 a.m., Noon, 2:15 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. The price is $110.81. Plus, a special late-night dinner with two seatings are available at 8:45p.m. and 9:45p.m. The price is $305.03.

Narcoossee’s New Year’s Eve Dinner – Located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, this generous four-course menu is offered with seatings between 5 and 5:45 p.m. A five-course menu is offered with seating from 8:30-9:25 p.m. for a late-night celebration with live music. The first seating $150 for adults and $70 for children ages 3-9. The second seating is $255 for adults and $95 for children ages 3-9.

Seasonal Tastes and Candlelight Narrators at Holidays Around the World at Epcot

One of the most delightful ways for you to experience Epcot® is sampling the tasty treats found all around World Showcase. And now, Holidays Around the World is adding more food and drink for the winter celebration Nov. 25-Dec. 30, 2016.

 Here’s just a sampling of some of the items you’ll find at the five new marketplaces:

  • Prost! in Germany (artisan cheese plate or sauerbraten with red cabbage and spätzle)
  • American Holiday Table in American Adventure Pavilion (slow-roasted turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce)
  • Alpine Haus between France and Morocco (cheese fondue in a bread bowl with fresh steamed vegetables)
  • Seasonal Southern Delights near World Showcase Plaza (blackened catfish with white cheddar grits with okra)
  • Feast of Three Kings Feast near World Showcase Plaza (Three Kings Bread)

Also as a part of Holidays Around the World at Epcot, Candlelight Processional returns to present the story of Christmas in truly spectacular fashion – with a celebrity narrator, a 50-piece orchestra and a mass choir.

Dining packages are available on select nights and include a delicious meal and a guaranteed seat for one of the Candlelight Processional performances. Availability is limited.

With the holiday season just around the corner, it’s a great time to book Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets! This favorite Walt Disney World® Resort holiday tradition returns to the Magic Kingdom® Park for a festive 21 nights this year.

 

Mickey Mouse presides over the holiday festivities during this enchanting after-hours party that showcases special entertainment, including “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” and a holiday edition of the fireworks spectacular “Wishes,” as well as meet-and-greet opportunities with favorite Disney Characters in holiday attire.

 

Plus, “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” will make its debut for the 2016 holiday season. In this brand new stage show with a grammatically challenged title, Mickey and his pals invite some of their friends for an unforgettable Christmas party filled with music, dancing, color and fun. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party

The new nightly Star Wars fireworks show, "Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular," combines fireworks, pyrotechnics, special effects and video projections that turn the nearby Chinese Theater and other buildings at Disney's Hollywood Studios into the twin suns of Tatooine, a field of battle droids, the trench of the Death Star, Starkiller Base and other Star Wars destinations. In a galaxy not so far, far away, a spectacular dessert party has gotten even better!

At the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, you can experience out-of-this-world desserts and drinks inside Star Wars Launch Bay. Here, you can become immersed in the Star Wars universe with photo opportunities, exciting exhibits and thrilling character encounters.

After enjoying an assortment of sweets — including themed cupcakes, cookies and brownies and a selection of savory snacks including cheese and flatbread and dip (as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages) — you will be escorted to a VIP viewing area for the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.

Dessert party check-in takes place in front of Star Wars Launch Bay, located in the Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Check in begins at 7:30 p.m., and Guests can enter the party at 8:15 p.m.

The cost is $69 for adults, $39 for children age 3-9. Admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is required to attend, and is not included in the price of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party.
